Cousin Chart

Ever wondered how to calculate what degree cousin a relative is? It’s easy with a cousin chart like this one. Just figure out your relationship to your common ancestor along the top row, then find your relative’s relationship to the common ancestor on the far left row, then work your way into the chart until the column and row meet. That’s your degree of consanguinity (blood relation).

I would like to use the cousin chart in an article I’m submitting to the Johnson County (Arkansas) Historical Society Journal. It is the best I have found for ‘non-genealogist’ to use. I will give full credit to your site. Is this acceptable to you?
