Aimee emailed me last month after finding some useful Joyner posts on this site. Fortunately, she had something that was shared with her, that she wanted to pass along for other Joyner researchers. She wrote:
“[Y]ou shared the 1775 Pitt County list of Inhabitants and an abstract for that, but it is missing all Joyners. In my research I was able to connect with an individual who had a copy of Capt Cannon’s District which is missing from the North Carolina Digital Collection. I am sending it to you along with the source she provided. I don’t know all of the particulars for posting it, but it has been extremely helpful for me as 6 of my 6-7th great grandparents are listed on it. Maybe you already have it, but I didn’t see it. … [no other Joyners] are in this district which leads me to wonder what other districts may be missing.”
